Coffee farm tour, roasting & tasting workshop near Da Lat
Discover Vietnamese coffee from farm to cup at Twin Beans Farm, an Arabica coffee farm in Đạ Sar, Lâm Đồng, around 20 km from Da Lat (Dalat), Vietnam. This hands-on coffee experience brings together two complementary workshops: Part A — coffee farm tour, roasting and tasting and Part B — brewing and small bites pairing. Learn from local coffee artisans among the coffee trees in the cool highlands: an activity for travellers exploring Da Lat and coffee enthusiasts who want to understand how coffee is grown, processed, roasted and brewed.
Part A: Coffee farm tour, roasting & tasting
Begin with a guided walk through the Arabica coffee plantation and learn how coffee is grown, harvested and processed. During the harvest season, usually November to January, you may have the chance to pick and sort ripe coffee cherries. Then learn how heat, timing, aroma and the first “crack” transform green coffee beans. Roast your own batch, grind the freshly roasted beans, hand brew your coffee and taste the cup you created yourself.
Part B: Five brewing methods & small bites pairing
Continue your coffee journey in the heart of the plantation. Explore French Press, V60 Pour Over, Vietnamese Phin, Cold Brew and Moka Pot, with the stories and techniques behind each method. Discover how brewing reveals different expressions of coffee as you create five coffee-inspired dishes, each accompanied by thoughtfully prepared small bites from the farm. This guided brewing and food pairing workshop invites you to explore coffee with all your senses, right where it grows.
Duration: approximately 1.5 hours per part; allow about 3 hours of workshop time for both parts. Check the calendar below for available Part A and Part B sessions and the inclusions of your chosen booking.
